Many commercial toothpastes contain ingredients like SLS, artificial sweeteners, and synthetic dyes that can irritate or harm over time. Our goal was to switch to a natural toothpaste that provides effective clean without the harsh chemicals.
- We would recommend getting a sample size container or smaller wide mouth jars for each member of your family that you refill from this main jar for the most hygienic use.
- In the winter, this recipe can get fairly hard. We recommend using the back of your toothbrush to scoop it from the jar as to not ruin the bristles. Once in your mouth, you can manipulate the lump of paste for use. It will stay firm for several seconds before starting to melt from the warmth of your mouth, making this possible.

It took some getting used to to because it doesn’t feel like store bought toothpaste but now I love it. Love the flavor and the way it leaves my mouth feeling clean.
Do as they suggest and get a smaller container for daily use and travel, but we love the paste!
